I have four new works in Tatha Gallery's winter show 10 x 10 (ish) until the 21st of December.
A great selection of artists and makers, all on a small scale.
I've enjoyed working on these small pieces. They have been less committing in terms of time (life as a Dad and teacher has had its impact!) and so there’s been freedom to explore different aesthetics quickly. Three more pieces are still in the pipeline from this body of work and maybe finished in the new year.
This small series of work plays with include the usual suspects; figures entangled with nature, the Flammarion engraving, Eastern aesthetics, European drawing and the Scottish landscape.
There’s quite a lot gold pigment shimmers…
Tatha Gallery is in Newport on Tay and the show will run until the 21st of December.
